Making Connections:

One connection I had to this article was right away in the beginning when he talks about how we take selfies and pictures and how we use filters to get a different perspective and to show the photo we want to. I read that specific part a couple times to really see what the author wants us to feel and what I took from it is that when artists start their piece over cause they want to use a different angle or view, its just like how we take many phots at different angles and view and use filters to make the photo how we want others to see. Another connection I had to this piece was when the author talks about how the old cameras were big and heavy and now, they can on the back of our phone and are better quality. I connected to this because when I grew up my parents weren’t big into pictures but we still had a decent camera that the lens would come out to take pictures and it would go back in when you turned it off, and as we got older that camera never was used to take pictures, we started to use our phones now I have an iPhone 8 plus and my camera is almost as good as a camera with basic lens and no expensive features.
