Week 1-F.P

In the article How to change your outfit just by changing your shoes by Imogen, she talks about how changing your shoes can make your outfit formal or not just by the shoes she had chosen to wear. Right away she shows a picture of herself in a leopard skirt wearing long black boots, and she talks a little on how it can be a formal outfit that can be worn to work, etc. She then has a picture of herself in the same leopard skirt with sneakers on and she talks a little on how that outfit is more casual and how the sneakers lower the level of refinement with that outfit. She does change her top from when she is wearing the black knee boots with a blue short sleeve sweater to a light grey leopard print sweater. She does this because she wanted to show the audience how quick and easy an outfit can go from office style to casual. She then shows a picture of a blue wrap style top with a jean skirt with four different pairs of shoes to show us how one outfit can be worn as dressy or casual. The outfit is first shown with flat heeled heels, which would be worn as a casual since the shoes are open toed, and can’t normally be worn to a workplace. The outfit is then shown with flats which is more formal since flats are a common shoe worn for woman in the workplace. The outfit is then shown with blue low top converse which is worn for casual events as the shoes are sneakers, and sneakers are a casual shoe. The outfit is then lastly shown with pointy heels. The outfit is more formal with the heels as heels get as formal as you can get. She then has a little section that goes over “So how can you change our outfit by changing your shoes?”
